Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.

Instant search & toggle

Find any extension in milliseconds. Live-filter as you type, then flip its state with a single tap.

Bulk Disable All

Switch every active extension off in one click. Handy for testing websites without losing your setup.

Grouped views

Active and inactive extensions are split into tidy sections with live counts — no scroll-hunting.

Clear, grouped lists

Extensions are sorted by name and split into active and inactive sections, with live counts for each.

One required permission

Only requests the minimum `management` permission required. No analytics, no telemetry, no ads.

Universal browser support

Built for any Chromium-based browser — Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera, and friends.

How it works

Three steps. Zero friction.

Click the toolbar icon — or use the keyboard shortcut — to open the popup.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does this extension track me?

No. Quick Extension Manager has no analytics, telemetry, or remote API calls. Your extension list is read directly from the browser via the local `chrome.management` API.

What permissions does it request?

Only the single `management` permission — which is what lets the popup read and toggle your extensions. We do not request tabs, storage, cookies, or anything else.

How do I install it from GitHub?

Download the ZIP from the latest GitHub release, extract it, open your browser's extensions page, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked. Select the extracted extension folder.

Will it work on Brave, Edge, Arc, or Vivaldi?

Yes — any Chromium-based browser that supports Manifest V3 extensions works out of the box. Firefox is not supported because it uses the WebExtensions `browser.management` namespace separately.

What happens if I disable every extension?

Nothing dramatic. Your extensions stay installed and disabled silently. Re-enable any of them by toggling the switch back on — there is no per-extension state loss.

Can I see which extensions are slowing my browser down?

That is on our roadmap. For now, the tool helps you isolate faulty extensions quickly by toggling groups on and off and observing browser behaviour.

Is it really free?

Yes — forever, with no upsells or hidden tiers. If we ever ship a paid extension, it will be a separate listing; the manager itself stays free.

Your extensions, under control.
